Sikhi and Taiwaa (Matching Kundli)
Recently I have exposed to how many Sikh's have fine tuned their mind to actually believe more in “Matching Kundli's” rather than having faith on Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Thou Surrounded by all these pandits thoughts we Sikh’s who doesn’t believe in, find it hard to get away with it. These pandit thoughts does creates a little wobbling sound in our minds but as a Sikh we have a Hukam not to get trapped in these kind of things. I have come to known from these people that if kundli doesn’t match then married couple never stays happy and might get separated after some time. Sure it could be believed and followed by Hindu’s because that’s acceptable/culture in their religion. But as a Sikh I/you/anyone must not follow the recipe which makes that dish.
Anand Karaj is being done in front of Guru Sahib and I am not saying that those marriages doesn’t break that are done in front of Guru Sahib. But I wouldn’t hesitate to say that those couple always be with each other no matter what who walk on the path provided by Guru Sahib. Anand Karaj is a union of two souls through Guru’s blessings and we can find many blessed souls who can be seen ‘loving each other’ without worrying about physical presence in the living world.
Next time if some one asks you about the ‘kundli match’, tell them being a Sikh you have a hukam not to follow these superstitions instead let’s all do ardas that may Waheguru save us from falling in to the ocean of these superstitions.
